THE PROJECT

This project is an international youth project (mobility of youth workers) under the Erasmus+ programme. The project is organised by Euroteam and involves youth workers from ten countries.

The aim of the project is to develop participants´ competences essential for good quality work with youth, organisations of activities both within youth organisations and in international level. The project also supports cooperation and mutual enrichment in the area of nonformal education. In compliance with the Erasmus+ program it allows the participating organisations to inform about gained results and outputs and share them with public and thus increase the impact of youth projects and their sustainability and ensure European benefit of the Erasmus+ program. By implementing this project we would like to solve the issue of increasing competences regarding youth work, gaining and fostering leadership skills, managerial and organisational skills. The project focuses on participants´ needs to develop their competences necessary for work with youth, develop their motivation for such work, for organising activities for young people and develops creativity for organising future projects in the area of nonformal education.


The participants of the project will be youth workers who are involved in work of their organisations, participate in their activities and are interested in developing their personal competences, gaining new experience at international level and who are interested in leading youth teams, in future work in youth organisations headquarters, in work on creating and developing an international cooperation and in work on international youth projects. The communication language of the project is English. All participating teams will involve at least one participant coming from a disadvantageous group. In this project there will participate 26 participants from 10 countries, each represented by 2-3 adult youth workers.
The main activities will include the following methods of nonformal education: ice-breaking and team building games, presentations, workshops, debates and discussion, intercultural activities, evaluation and dissemination activities.

By this project the participants will improve their communication, language, social and IT competences as well as leadership, managerial and organisational skills, they will develop their ability to present results of their work and share good practice examples. increase their motivation to work actively with young people and organise for them local and international activities and projects, increase their ability to come with creative ideas and develop them, increase their language competences in English, their ability to work independently and in team, improve their creative competences during working on miniprojects, their IT competences during communication with other participants, they will learn to plan and organise activities in all phases, improve their communication skills - to present their ideas, persuade the others, react to other opinions and find a compromise, improve their decision making skills and their awareness about other cultures. The participating organisations will improve their skills to work at international level, enlarge their network of partners for future projects, foster the quality of their work in the organisation, increase awareness about possibilities of the Erasmus+ program and their youth work, increase interest in youth work and motivation for participating in international activiites for other people in the organisation and enlarge their international cooperation through using new miniprojects for making applications in the next deadlines. The target groups of the project will increase their awareness about the Erasmus+ program, will be able to use the project outputs, will learn about new methods of youth work and will learn about new ideas for creating new projects within the Erasmus+ program. Project results and outputs (photobook from the project, photodocumentation and videodocumentation, mini-publiaction in electronic form about the project, project activities, created miniprojects, mind maps made by project groups, SWOT analysis of miniprojects etc.) will be shared for example through the project webpage, webpages of the partner organisations etc. The project results and outputs will be available to wide public.
